Frank Rogers has completed a series of structural works at an end of terrace property in Liverpool for social housing provider, Plus Dane.
The two bedroom property on North Hill Street has undergone a major structural renovation including removal and reinstatement of internal and external walls.
Carried out over an 15 week period, the 100-plus year old property had settled and dropped by several inches resulting in the structural integrity of the property to be brought into question.
Tenants relocated to another property due to the wide scope of works. Once all structural works were completed, the Frank Rogers team replaced several internal floors and carried out floor covering and decorative works. New facilities, including a kitchen, were also introduced.
Whilst the property was initially earmarked for demolition and rebuild the decision to repair, improve and make safe maintains the Victorian aesthetics of the terraced street.
Dean Rogers, Managing Director of Frank Rogers commented:
“Plus Dane were keen to retain the existing building, ensuring that it was safe and structurally sound. Following initial assessments and reports, we identified key areas of concern and presented a series of recommendations, all of which the client took on board.
“The building has now benefitted from a full structural and general overhaul and is ready to become a fantastic home to the next tenants.”
