Overview
Frank Rogers secure the construction of eight new build apartments in Lilac Drive, Northwich in our latest Design & Build contract award. The scheme presented significant challenge located upon a former allotment plot nestled amongst an existing residential estate.
Works Description
Initial works focused upon site clearance, removal of temporary fencing and securing new development boundaries, removing former “cut throughs” across the allotment promoting a safer construction site.
Confined Space
Prior to commencing works we developed a comprehensive Construction Phase Plan, informing South Cheshire how we intended to proactively manage health and safety across the project, supported by a site wide Logistics Plan; introducing traffic management, material deliveries and further safe systems of works.
Modern Methods of Construction
Our Contracts Manager, Mark Jones coordinated in-house design teams comprising of mechanical and electrical engineers developing South Cheshire’s performance specification achieving successful installation of photovoltaic panels boosting new homes efficiency lowering future energy bills.
Customer Satisfaction
Final handover preparation included significant landscaping in anticipation for smooth new resident move-ins including; turfed front / rear gardens, patio areas and driveways to front elevations combined with street scene planting zones.
Overall customer feedback surpassed expectations with excellent reviews.
